How to configure `cabal setup` to add header to distribution?
I need to add a header to the distribution package generated by cabal. How can I do it?
You can’t, this isn’t done as part of Cabal or the Haskell build system (you can do what you like with the additional-files field in a package.cabal file).
You can do it by modifying the source code for the library you’re distributing, by building and installing the package as root (or using sudo), and modifying the file you find at /usr/lib/.
The extra-headers and extra-source-files fields both have targets which take care of constructing the appropriate file locations for these; you just need to decide whether you want to do this as part of the build process or by modifying source code.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a system for distributing power in a motor vehicle, in particular a fuel cell vehicle.
2. Description of the Related Art
Such a power distribution system for a fuel cell vehicle, for example, is described in commonly assigned U.S. patent application No. 08/822,554, filed Mar. 6, 1997, now U.S. Pat. No. 5,828,798. The motor vehicle described in that patent application has a plurality of electrical consumers which are driven by at least one electric motor. The electric motor is located in the region of the longitudinal center in the vehicle, between the front and the rear axles. A DC/DC converter for converting direct current into alternating current for the electric motor is located in a region on the left-hand side of the vehicle, in the longitudinal direction, in the region of the engine. A gasoline engine, particularly one for driving the vehicle on
